Tegan is a senior at Rice studying Health Sciences. She participated in Rice’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB), working with organizations in Houston and Austin that champion refugee maternal health. She shares insights into the challenges refugees face and how Rice University is supporting this vulnerable population.
