There’s a chill in the air, Chaus* is serving pumpkin spice lattes and the leaves are all falling around campus which means it’s almost Thanksgiving! Before students go off to spend time with their friends and family (even if it’s celebrating on campus!), it's a perfect time for our Rice Owls to reflect on the many things they are thankful for this season. At Rice, our undergraduate students have the freedom to combine interests and create their own academic paths. Zack, a junior from Jones College, is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree while also working two different research positions!
At Rice, all enrolled students are welcome to participate in the Intramural (IM) Sports program, which includes residential college sports and club sports. With over 15 different sports options, Rice Owls can play anything from flag football to innertube water polo! Playing an IM sport is a great way to meet students from other residential colleges, graduate students, and Rice faculty and staff!
