Held at Stude concert hall for the first time, the Rice community came to fill the seats and celebrate a night of African culture.

The Korean Culture Night was filled with great performances by many of our students ranging from bands, solo artists, K-Pop dance teams, and more!

At Korean Culture Night, Rice students got to play games, eat snacks, and vote for their favorite K-Pop group. They also learned to write their names in Hangul thanks to the Korean Student Association!

At POST Houston, we got to see Houston's Soaring Phoenix perform a Dragon Dance!

During Lunar New Year, it's tradition to gift the performing lions a red envelope with money inside which symbolizes good wishes and luck for the new year ahead!

We attended the Lunar New Year Festival at POST Houston and welcomed the Year of the Rabbit with several performances and an Asian pop-up market with traditional foods, games, arts, and other cultural activities!
