  • The Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (LILIE) hosted a Startup Job & Internship Fair in partnership with the Center of Career Development, where innovative, high-growth startups in the clean energy transition and high-tech space came to the Rice campus, eager to tap into the talent pool of current Owls. Student-led health initiatives are a pivotal part of the university’s efforts to encourage students to learn beyond the classroom.   • Jaclynn and Ayla are both students at Rice pursuing art. While Jaclynn works with multiple mediums, Ayla’s concentration is filmmaking and interdisciplinary projects.   • Each fall, Rice students escape the classroom for a 4-day weekend, otherwise known as Midterm Recess. This long weekend allows Owls to seek some well-deserved solace, rest and fun amidst the busy school year.
